Situated overlooking the River Dart & sitting on the edge of Totnes, one of the oldest towns in England, our school is positioned in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.
Located in the South West of England on the river Dart mid-way between the wild moors and the sea, Totnes is recognised as a centre of Alternative Health and is home to the famous Dartington Hall Art and Music college. Started by an American couple, the Elmhursts and renowned for its liberal education in the 1960s and 70s.
Nearby is a Rudolph Steiner school, Schumacher College, Buddhist Retreat, Yoga centre and Shiatsu school. There is also a large organic farm and vineyard.
Totnes is a Transition Town, dedicated to creating an environmentally sound and sustainable lifestyle. It has a wealth of cafes and restaurants, many serving local organic produce. It also has a lively antique and farmers market and in the summer a craft and Elizabethan market.
Totnes is a historic town that overlooks the River Dart close to the sea and the moors. It has its own castle and plenty of interesting shops, cafes, pubs and markets.
Totnes has a centrally located station on the main-line from and London Euston and Waterloo stations and also on the line from Bristol and Birmingham.
